"When I agreed to go on the medical mission in 2005 I had no idea how my life would change. The passion Diane Pollard and the Issa Trust Foundation have to help children was contagious from the very beginning. Being in Jamaica and using my knowledge, as a nurse to educate and improve children’s health has been a blessing to me. I am not able to attend the mission this year but because of the impact of this experience, I am determined to help from Iowa as much as I can. Thank you to Jamaica and the Issa Trust Foundation for giving me this opportunity to give back."
